The instant gallery had some well thought out entries and was a good
example of HWA member standards. It was just a pity that our guest demonstrator was not able to give a constructive critique and in fact was unable to identify many of the usual UK woods used.
The same can be said of his demo, which (by RTP standards) was poor, incomplete and lack lustre. He is a turner (RPT) to whom I would give a wide berth in future and not a good example to our craft. His choice of tools for different purposes was very questionable.
On the demo circuit, I would not give him a second thought.
